UV-1900i/UV-1900 UV and visible spectrophotometers are a development of the well-proven UV-1800 model. Now working with the instruments is even easier. Thanks to the large color touch panel, navigation in the instrument menu has become even easier. The intuitive design of the icons will help even a beginner to choose the right method and set the measurement parameters. The touch panel can be controlled both by pressing with a finger and with a stylus ergonomically located in the instrument body. The built-in software supports operation in Russian, as well as the function of setting the instrument start at a specified time. The spectrophotometers can also be operated via a PC using the LabSolutions UV-Vis for UV-1900i and UVProbe for UV-1900. In the case of the LabSolutions UV-Vis software, in addition to the measurement and analysis functions, the ability to evaluate measurement results (pass/fail criteria) is available. Simple data export to text or table format increases work efficiency.

The variability and informativeness of the built-in automatic validation system allows you to easily set parameters (and save several options) for validation according to nine JIS (JIS – Japanese Industrial Standard) and according to the requirements of the European, American and Japanese Pharmacopoeias. The ultra-high speed of 29,000 nm/min of the scanning spectrophotometer allows you to make very fast measurements, which is important when studying the kinetic characteristics of processes and chemical reactions. And the use of high-brightness optics and a classic radiation source with halogen and deuterium lamps guarantees very low noise of the devices and stability of the baseline, which provides the highest photometric accuracy and reproducibility.
Serviceability
The UV-1900i/UV-1900 series models allow operation both under the control of the built-in controller with a touch screen and using a personal computer and UVProbe or LabSolutions UV-Vis software. The presence of a built-in USB interface and USB control function allows you to easily connect a printer or a personal computer with a printer. All created user method settings and templates, as well as measurement results, can be saved in the built-in memory, from where they can be called up at any time. Additionally, external USB drives can be used to save various data. The validation procedure can be implemented using PC software and optional spectrophotometer validation software. In addition to simplifying daily checks, the procedure for checking the instrument’s performance and managing records is also simplified, ensuring even greater compliance with regulatory requirements.
