Spectrometers of this series are designed for fast quantitative elemental analysis of solid metal samples and are used for quality control of finished products, incoming inspection of various metals and alloys: cast iron, steel, non-ferrous metals, as well as for quality control of metals in mechanical engineering. Depending on the task, users can choose one of two models: PDA-MF ( ) і PDA-MF Plus ( ). The emission spectrometers are equipped with highly sensitive CCD detectors. With the latest software and a database of alloys of various compositions, they can easily identify samples of unknown composition.

- Simultaneous determination of all elements in a sample: identification of an unknown sample in a single analysis. Using a new optical system based on a highly sensitive CCD detector, as well as newly developed software and special databases containing information on the elemental composition of iron and non-ferrous metal alloys, the instruments automatically determine the type of material in one analysis depending on the degree of matching and the number of elements that have been matched, including the analysis of unknown samples. As a result, users can confidently analyze samples regardless of their level of expertise.
- Low operating costs. The Smart Calibration (S.Cal) feature uses only one sample to perform all standardization procedures, reducing operating costs associated with sample and argon costs. The computer-controlled Argon Savings Management Mode (ASMM) automatically switches the spectrometer between analysis and standby modes to minimize argon consumption.
- Measurement of samples of various geometries and sizes. The spark stand and clamping lever, which are open on three sides, ensure precise measurement of any sample size. Special clamps make it easy to analyze specific samples such as thin sheets, rods, and small samples. Experts in ergonomics have developed and tested a safe and comfortable spark table. The table cover can be easily opened without removing the table itself and without the use of any special tools, which ensures convenient maintenance.
- PDA-S software: simplicity, intelligence, power.The all-new PDA-S software with its user-friendly interface allows the operator to easily perform all standard operations and maintenance on the spectrometer. A quick learning curve is sufficient to confidently operate the instrument.
