The IR-Fourier spectrometer IRTracer-100 is a research-class spectrometer, the characteristics of which allow not only to perform routine tasks of IR spectroscopy, but also to conduct scientific research related to high-resolution spectroscopy, kinetic measurements and monitoring of chemical and technological processes. The main distinguishing feature of the device is its flexibility, when the characteristics can be significantly changed on a single optical bench.
IRTracer-100
Fourier transform infrared spectrometer

If necessary, the spectral range of the instrument can be extended to the far-IR region (up to 240 cm-1) or to the near-IR region (up to 12500 cm-1). Along with the standard thermostabilized DLATGS detector, a highly sensitive cryogenic MCT detector or a detector sensitive to the near-IR region of InGaAs radiation can be installed.
Sensitivity and reliability of the IRTracer-100 Fourier transform infrared spectrometer
The high sensitivity of the spectrometer (signal/noise ratio 60000:1) allows the analysis of traces of impurities in various samples, despite the low intensity of the bands in the spectrum. The spectral resolution of the IRTracer-100 equal to 0,25 cm-1 provides high accuracy of quantitative identification of bands in the spectrum, especially in the case of gaseous compounds. The interferometer operation optimization system together with internal self-diagnostics ensure stable operation of the device.
Study of the kinetics of fast reactions
The fast scan mode allows recording up to 20 spectra per second, which is especially important when studying the kinetics of fast reactions, the duration of which can be several seconds.

A wide range of specialized consoles
In addition to a diverse set of cuvettes and kits for making KBr tablets, Shimadzu supplies specialized attachments that significantly expand the analytical capabilities of the IRTracer-100 spectrometer:
- Attenuated Total Internal Reflection (TTIR) Attachments
- Specific Reflection Attachments
- Diffuse Reflection Attachments
- Automatic Sample Changer
- Gas Cells
- A device for measuring IR transmission spectra of solid microsamples.

The large cell compartment allows you to install both existing Shimadzu accessories and third-party accessories.
An IR microscope can be connected to the IRTracer-100 spectrometer, allowing you to perform measurements of micro-objects using transmission, reflection, and PPVV methods, which is used to determine micro-impurities or map the distribution of substances over the sample area.
