i-series

Monoblock liquid chromatographs

The new monobloc liquid chromatographs of the «i-series» (innovative, intuitive, intelligent) are represented by six models.

Four HPLC models form the LC-2050 sub-series:

  • LC-2050 chromatograph with a pump providing pressure up to 50 MPa, a spectrophotometric detector and an autoinjector that does not require sample cooling.
  • LC-2050C chromatograph with a pump providing pressure up to 50 MPa, a spectrophotometric detector and an autoinjector providing sample cooling.
  • LC-2050C LT chromatograph with a pump providing pressure up to 50 MPa and an autoinjector providing sample cooling.
  • LC-2050C 3D chromatograph with a pump providing pressure up to 50 MPa, a diode-array detector and an autoinjector providing sample cooling.

Two UPPER models that form the LC-2060 subseries:

  • LC-2060C chromatograph with a pump providing pressure up to 70 MPa, a spectrophotometric detector and an autoinjector providing sample cooling.
  • LC-2060C 3D chromatograph with a pump providing pressure up to 70 MPa, a diode-array detector and an autoinjector providing sample cooling.

The devices of all the above models have a monoblock design, combining in a single housing a pump, controller, degasser, detector (except for the LC-2050C LT model), an autoinjector with a low sample carryover (within 0.0025%), a column thermostat with the ability to cool samples and an automatic validation system. All chromatographs can be additionally equipped with other detectors: fluorescent, refractometric, amperometric, light scattering detector and mass spectrometric.
The design of the i-series instruments was recognized with the Good Design Award 2015.
The i-series instruments can be used both for daily routine analyses and for conducting series of analyses in fully automatic mode, freeing the operator from the need for personal presence.
The i-series instruments use a new technology for temperature control of the detector optical systems (TC-optics), which provides excellent reproducibility of results, enabling reliable detection of trace analytes even with significant fluctuations in ambient temperature.
