Universal electromagnetic systems for dynamic testing

The EMT series of universal machines allows high-frequency fatigue tests with a maximum speed of 2 m/s and a maximum stroke of ± 50 mm, while the electromagnetic actuators used as the driving force operate quietly and do not require lubrication. Thanks to the rigidity of the main frame and the modern multifunctional controller, the system allows for high-precision dynamic tests with good reproducibility of results. And the large space is suitable for setting up studies using a constant temperature tank (option).

Features

  • Precision. The combination of the powerful digital electronics of the 4830 controller, a rigid main frame and a precision load cell ensures accurate fatigue test results with high reproducibility. Allows you to perform displacement load tests and contact tests with high accuracy.
  • High-speed system. Ability to test a sine wave cycle at speeds up to 2 m/s and a maximum travel length of ± 50 mm. The maximum achievable test frequency is 200 Hz with an allowable displacement amplitude of ± 20 μm.
  • Low operating costs and environmental friendliness. Thanks to the use of an electromagnetic drive, there is no need for compressed air, hydraulic oil and water. Therefore, this system can be installed in extremely clean laboratories. All that is needed is a power supply.
  • Low noise level. Due to its low noise level, the dynamic testing machine can be installed in any room, no soundproofing is required.
  • Compactness. The electromagnetic servopulser is designed to make the most economical use of laboratory workspace.
  • Security. Special safety features and an emergency stop button prevent accidents. Additionally, the servo pulser can be equipped with a special protective screen.
