The AGS-X series of universal autographs is designed for studying the mechanical properties of metals, wood, plastics and other materials, and provides excellent performance and reproducibility of results. Shimadzu has expanded the line of AGS-X series testing machines. It now includes both table-top and floor-standing machines. The maximum permissible load is 300 kN. The new models of AGS-X series testing machines, made in a modern, stylish design, offer a high level of test control, intuitive operation and set a new standard for strength assessment, while ensuring the maximum degree of safety.

Features
- High test accuracy. The equipment is available in two accuracy classes with an error of 1% and 0.5% with a resolution ranging from 1/1 to 1/500 of the nominal force.
- Easy stress and strain control. Real-time control parameters can be adjusted based on measured test force and strain data. Reliable comparison with unknown sample data without prior testing. Auto-tuning function easily performs tension control according to ISO6892-2009 requirements.
- Achieving a reliable S-S graph using high-precision load sensors. The range of guaranteed load cell accuracy – from 1/500 to 1/1, increases measurement efficiency and ensures that almost the entire testing time can be performed without switching the load cell or grips.
- Single connection point for tension and compression testing (for frames 20–300 kN). A single connection unit is used for tensile and compression tests, which facilitates the change of equipment. This unit is installed with a nut located at the top of the load cell, which allows you to safely disconnect the units on the table.
Stress and strain control. To test a material for tensile or compression, it is enough to call up the test method in the TRAPEZIUM LITE X software. Also, the AGS-X series testing machines can operate autonomously without connecting to a PC using test methods created directly on the machine. In the case of autonomous operation (without connecting to a PC), the testing machine is controlled using the control panel. The control panel provides for the development and storage of test conditions; the joystick of the control panel allows you to control the grips or the automatic extensometer. The control panel is movable, which allows you to install it at a convenient angle. In addition, high-speed data sampling (1 ms) ensures that there are no gaps in the change in strength. For 10 kN frames, a built-in control panel is provided. In this case, a Jog Controller is optionally available, which allows manual control of the traverse position. The rotary switch makes precise positioning very convenient. - Improved security. One-touch travel limit setting A safety feature stops the machine if force changes exceed a certain level during specimen placement or traverse return. In addition, there is easy one-touch travel limit setting.
- Protective screen. Control of the destruction of the test specimen during testing. The locking increases safety: the operator can easily raise and lower the protective screen thanks to the slider mechanism.
- Software «TRAPEZIUM X» or «TRAPEZIUM LITE X». Simple and convenient interface, the ability to use standard test methods, as well as create your own. Preparation of test reports in various formats. Ability to obtain data on the test curve, without conducting a new test (diagram re-analysis function).
- Double emergency stop switch. Emergency switches are installed on both sides (for 20-300 kN frames).
