The machine allows for dynamic tests with a large number of load cycles (multi-cycle fatigue tests, gigawatts) with significant time savings. Thus, testing a material with a number of cycles of 109 at an operating load frequency of 20 kHz ± 500 Hz takes only 14 hours (compared to 39 days at 300 Hz, in most machines of this class). And testing with a number of cycles of 1010 – 6 days (compared to 365 days at 300 Hz).
USF-2000A
Ultrasonic testing machine for fatigue testing of materials

Features
- The machine can be used for various inspections for research and development purposes as well as for quality control in mass production
- Accelerated performance evaluation at 20 kHz
- High-precision voltage and amplitude control for excellent quality results
- Reveals micro-defects and inclusions in a short time
- Resonant tuning of the vibration system reduces energy consumption compared to conventional fatigue tests
- The software package has everything you need from generating a technical drawing of the sample to convenient test execution and evaluation of the results
- Compact system design for various installation options without special requirements for the installation location (no cooling water, hydraulic oil, etc. required)
- Possible loading with a constant positive average value of the stress cycle and testing with an asymmetric load cycle (Option)
Working principle:
Unlike conventional testing machines, in the USF-2000A cyclic loads are created not by applying force to the sample, but by resonance. A piezoelectric element creates vibrations with a frequency of up to 20,000 Hz, which are transmitted to the test sample.
Areas of application:
- Research on turbine blade materials
- Research on rotating transport parts materials (crankshafts, axles)
- Research on bearing materials
