Fourier transform infrared spectrometer

The IRXross high-sensitivity Fourier transform infrared spectrometer is a mid-range FTIR model that achieves a high price-performance ratio. This instrument enables scientific research involving high-resolution spectroscopy. The built-in analytical intelligence allows operators who are not even familiar with FTIR analysis to easily analyze samples with just one click. A large library of programs for various tests makes it possible to quickly and accurately test for various industries

The spectral range of this instrument allows the analysis of wave numbers up to 350 cm−1. It is possible to install a DLATGS detector with temperature control MCT detector (Hg–Cd–Te) cooled with liquid nitrogen, which allows for high-precision and rapid monitoring of reactions and analysis of gases of low concentration

Sensitivity and reliability of the IRXross Fourier transform infrared spectrometer

Using IRXross with ATR attachment, it is possible to obtain a signal-to-noise ratio of 55,000:1, which provides ultra-high sensitivity of measurements. The system is able to detect even an extremely weak absorption signal at the level of 0.00023 with good sensitivity. The resolution of the device, which is 0.25 cm-1, shows peaks around 2230 cm-1. It is possible to use a KRS-5 window, which retains moisture resistance up to 90% relative humidity (for temperatures up to 30 °C) and meets the pharmacopoeial wavenumber requirement for the range from 350 to 7800 cm-1

Study of the kinetics of fast reactions

Ultra-fast measurement allows testing to be done in seconds. The fast IR scan mode can be completed in just 5.5 seconds, allowing you to obtain sample information almost instantly

The IRXross spectrometer can be equipped with an IR microscope, which allows for measurements of micro-objects using transmission, reflection and NIR methods. This provides the ability to detect micro-impurities or map the distribution of substances on the surface of samples. The large cuvette compartment of the device allows the use of accessories from both Shimadzu and other manufacturers. To perform various spectral tasks, the device is supplied with the LabSolutions IR research software package, which allows monitoring the technical condition of the device and conducting its diagnostics at the user’s request
